This page sets out what this site collects, where it goes, and what you can ask us to do about it. The short version comes first, and the detail follows.
The short version
- The contact form collects your name, your email address, the kind of business you run, and what you are looking for.
- What you send goes to Lumasyn only. It is written to our leads spreadsheet and emailed to our inbox.
- This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
- This site sends nothing you type to an AI service.
- We do not sell, rent or trade your information.
- To see, correct or delete what you sent, email us.
What we collect
The contact form sends five things:
- Your name
- Your email address
- The kind of business you run, chosen from a list
- Which of the form’s two kinds of work you are looking for
- Any of the listed services you pick, if you pick any
The time the form arrives is recorded with it. If you email us instead, we have what you put in that email.
The form also has a hidden field meant to be left empty. Spam programs fill it in, and when it is filled, the submission is discarded and none of what was typed is stored. If you sent the form and have not heard back, email us directly.
Where it goes
When you send the form, it travels over an encrypted connection to this site’s server at Vercel, which hosts the site. The server passes it, also encrypted, to an intake endpoint that Lumasyn runs on Google Apps Script.
The endpoint writes your submission as a row in Lumasyn’s leads spreadsheet in Google Sheets, with the time it arrived, and emails a notification to our inbox, which runs on Google Workspace. That email repeats what you sent and sets your address as its reply-to, so our reply comes straight to you.
Vercel records the requests made to this site, including IP addresses, in its logs. Apart from Vercel and Google, which carry and store your submission for us, no one receives it. We do not sell, rent or trade it.
How we use AI
This site sends nothing you type to an AI service. The contact form’s only outbound call is the one to Lumasyn’s intake endpoint described above. The site has no chatbot, and nothing in its code calls an AI service.
Lumasyn uses AI tools in its own work, including work for clients. If you become a client, information you give us goes only to AI services whose terms or settings do not allow the provider to train on it. We check that before a tool first receives any of it, and again whenever those terms or settings change.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, advertising or session recording, loads no third-party scripts or embedded content, and serves its typeface from its own server rather than a font service.
The site does not track visitors, so a Do Not Track signal from your browser has nothing to switch off, and the site behaves the same with or without one. Vercel’s request logs, described above, are kept either way. No third party tracks you across other websites through this site.
How long we keep it
There is no schedule that deletes submissions automatically, so what you send stays in the leads spreadsheet and our inbox until it is removed. If you ask us to remove it, we delete it from both. The spreadsheet’s version history, which Google keeps, can still hold an earlier copy.
Vercel’s request logs expire on Vercel’s own schedule, which depends on the hosting plan.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your information
To see what we hold about you, correct it or have it deleted, email yoz@lumasyndigital.com.
Tell us which of those you want and the email address you used on the form. We will answer you within 7 days, and we will tell you when it is done.
Security
Every page and every form submission on this site travels over an encrypted connection. The intake endpoint accepts a submission only when it carries a secret that the site holds, and the spreadsheet and inbox sit inside Lumasyn’s Google account, behind its sign-in.
No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim this one is. To report a security problem, email yoz@lumasyndigital.com.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and if we learn that we have, we delete it.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, we update this page and its effective and last updated dates. There is no mailing list, so this page is where a change appears.
